When can I switch from the TOEFL to the SAT?

When you have a 95 or more out of 120 points on the TOEFL, transitioning your studies to the SAT can greatly improve your score. Specifically, if your TOEFL Reading and Writing scores are above 24 and 27 respectively, we recommend studying the SAT instead and you can start to build upon your knowledge in our lower level SAT courses.

Which test is better for me, the SAT or the ACT?

It is often difficult for students to determine which college entrance exam will be more appropriate for them. Based on our experience, we can evaluate students’ suitability for each exam using our analysis.

  • Students who perform better on the SAT believe that:

    • There is not enough time to solve all of the problems.

    • They must solve all of the problems to unlock your character.

    • In reading comprehension, they tend to remember the details by paragraph.

    • In math, they are good at solving geometry-based problems.

    • They are not as keen on science subjects.

  • Students who perform better on the ACT believe that:

    • They are not very confident with vocabulary.

    • In math, they have a dependence on calculators.

    • In reading comprehension, they can determine the answer to a question but it is often difficult to provide explanations as to why.

    • They dislike multiple different forms of integration problems.

    • They have a good understanding of experimental charts.

What is the difference between AndyPrep and AndyEase?

AndyEase is a program that is provided by AndyPrep. AndyEase provides a 1:1 VIP college consulting service by matching prospective college students with our consultants. Is admission to the school guaranteed through AndyEase?

The five-school program does not guarantee that students will be admitted to the school they wish to attend. However, we focus on maximizing the possibility of admission by holistically reviewing the student’s profile, identifying ways to improve chances, and adding value to their applications. We do our absolute best to guide students through college admissions by highlighting their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses.
